Four generations of the Hogue family.
This ground was first homsteaded in 1886, when William Dennison proved up along Cow Creek. In 1917, Frank Squire acquired the land, and it has stayed in the family ever since. Colorado has since named it a Centennial Ranch: more than a hundred years under one family's care. The barn still stands just beyond the cottonwoods along the water.
